These Terms of Use apply to windsorford.com (the "Site"), which is operated byWindsor Motors Ltd., operating as Windsor Ford ("Windsor Ford", "we", "us" or "our"), an AMVIC-licensed dealership in Grande Prairie, Alberta. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information and forms part of these Terms.
1. Vehicles, pricing and offers
- Prices. Advertised vehicle prices include all fees and charges except GST, as Alberta's all-in pricing rules require.
- Availability. Our inventory changes daily. A vehicle may be sold or put on hold before the Site updates. Please confirm availability with us before visiting.
- Vehicle details. Specifications, features and photos come from the manufacturer and third-party data providers. Photos may show optional equipment or a similar vehicle. Please confirm the equipment that matters to you with our team.
- Payments. Payment amounts, rates and terms are estimates only, on approved credit (OAC). Your actual payment depends on lender approval, your down payment, trade-in and the final terms of your agreement.
- Manufacturer offers. Ford incentives, rebates and financing offers are set by Ford, have eligibility rules and may change or end without notice.
- Trade-in values. Online trade-in values are estimates. Your final offer depends on an in-person inspection of your vehicle.
- Your agreement governs. Nothing on the Site is an offer to sell. The terms of your purchase, lease or service are the ones in your signed agreement with us.
We work to keep the Site accurate. If you notice an error, please tell us and we will correct it.
2. Online credit applications
Our online credit application is provided through a third-party credit tool. Applying does not guarantee approval. If you apply, you consent to us and the lenders we work with obtaining your credit report and verifying the information you provide, as described in the application. Credit decisions are made by the lender.
3. Text messaging terms
Program. Windsor Ford sends text messages (SMS/MMS) about your inquiries, vehicle availability and pricing, appointment confirmations and reminders, service updates and, if you agree to marketing messages, offers and dealership promotions.
Consent. We text you only if you agree, for example by ticking the optional text-message box on a website form, by telling our staff, or by texting us first. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
Frequency. Message frequency varies with your requests and activity.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
Opting out. Reply OPTOUT or STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You will receive one message confirming that you are unsubscribed, and then no more. ReplySTART to subscribe again.
Help. Reply HELP to any message, call us at(780) 532-9550, or emailmarketing@windsorford.com.
Delivery. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Messaging may not be available on every carrier or in every area.
Privacy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See the text messaging section of our Privacy Policy.
4. Using the Site
You agree not to:
- use the Site for anything unlawful, fraudulent or misleading;
- submit false information or impersonate someone else;
- send spam or harmful code, or try to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems;
- scrape, copy or resell Site content or inventory data for commercial use without our written permission.
We may suspend or block access to the Site for anyone who breaks these Terms.
5. Content and trademarks
The Site's content, including text, photos, video and design, belongs to Windsor Ford or our licensors. You may view and print it for personal, non-commercial use. Ford, the Ford Oval and Ford model names are trademarks of Ford Motor Company. Other trademarks belong to their owners.
If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright or other rights, contact us with the details (seesection 11) and we will review it promptly.
6. What you send us
Please do not send us confidential information through the Site except where a form asks for it, such as a credit application. Information you send is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Third-party links and tools
The Site links to and includes tools from other companies, such as maps, videos, appointment booking, payment plans and our credit application. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to your use of them, and we are not responsible for their content or services.
8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we do not promise that it will be error-free, uninterrupted or free of harmful code, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses from your use of the Site or of sites linked from it.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under Alberta's Consumer Protection Act or other laws that cannot be waived.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute about the Site will be heard by the courts of Alberta.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
